Branding works best as a cohesive whole, but sometimes clients really do just need a logo (at least for starters.)
The best logos are built to be adaptable: elegant, single-color designs that work at any size, in any medium. To that end, much of my process is done on paper, in ink, long before moving to the screen. For the logo to be a success, it must work in black and white – only at the end is color introduced as an embellishment to a structurally sound design.
Presented here are recent logos, lettering, and wordmark designs.
